ARTIST
Jenifer has always been an avid gardener and artist. A deep understanding of composition, color and scale are important whether painting, sculpting, designing jewelry or a building a garden. A deep understanding of the right plant, right place; plant needs, soil, and planting techniques is also important when designing a landscape. This rounded knowledge of art and science is where Jenifer stands out as a garden designer.
Jenifer Balducci earned a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts from UCLA, a Masters of Fine Arts from the Academy of Art College in San Francisco and studied jewelry design at GIA. After a brief career in computer animation, she launched JBalducci Jewelry in early 2003. In 2024, she made a career shift, enrolling in the UC Master Gardener program and earning her certificate in 2025. To further expand her knowledge, Jenifer has studied garden design, architecture, and native plants at DVC, and she continues to volunteer as a Master Gardener and take continuing education classes through UC Extension.
